La m\u00fasica sefard\u00ed <\/span>es la m\u00fasica de los jud\u00edos que en la Edad Media viv\u00edan en la Pen\u00ednsula Ib\u00e9rica. Proviene de la Espa\u0148a Medieval, o Sefarad, como se llamaba en hebreo.<\/span><\/div>\n

The end of the Musulman reign on the Peninsula (at the end of XVth century) and the expultion of Sephardi Jews was the cause why people emigrating from Spain took with them musical tradition from many centuries before. It has been preserved in oral way till today \u2013 it is still performed in the regions where those emigrants setlled down.<\/span><\/div>\n

That is why Sephardic music is also influenced by music of the countries in which Sephardic Jews started to live after the expultion (mainly in the basin of the Mediterranean Sea).<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Gracias a esta historia muy complicada existe una posibilidad de interpretar la m\u00fasica sefard\u00ed en estilos completamente diferentes que se refieren tanto a sus raices medievales como a su car\u00e1cter popular, que en muchos paises es una tradici\u00f3n viva.<\/div>\n
