The music for Bolesław Leśmian’s poems was composed by the outstanding singer Anna Riveiro (vocal coach, instrumentalist, composer, and music producer). Thanks to Anna Riveiro’s compositions, Bolesław Leśmian’s poetry from the collections “Orchard Rozstajny,” “Łąka,” “Napój cienisty,” and “Dziejba leśna” speaks to the listener in a new dimension…

“In Bolesław Leśmian’s poems, love often transcends the boundaries of life and intertwines with death, nothingness, nonexistence, infinity… and eternity. Hence the title of both the concert program and the album, which is very personal to me.
This is my ninth album as a soloist, and also my first fully original one. Bolesław Leśmian’s poems move me deeply, and I wanted to convey these emotions through both song and music.
The choice of songs and their order on the album are not accidental – the whole creates a unique story, accompanied by the wonderful musicians Anna Hajduk-Rynkowicz and Michał Zuń.”

“I have long followed Anna Riveiro’s artistic path, admiring her ease in moving across many styles and genres. Now she has reached for Leśmian’s poems.
Her previous explorations, experiences, and directions converge here into a vast, Leśmian-esque space of plenitude, where nasturtiums, mists, and stillness align with the bodies of lovers, perhaps the last, who are pure aura, a spiral of emotions, bliss, and sobbing.
In Anna Riveiro’s interpretation, one hears atavism as well as the tone of mourning songs, folk and sacred sounds, cantorial tones. The mysticism of Leśmian’s poetry and the music of forest altars complement each other.
The rhythm of words, which leads to the tango, reveals light and joy. A greeting and a farewell, or perhaps the other way around? Anna Riveiro’s bright soprano flows like Leśmian’s stream of associations, now a cantilena, now a lament, dawn to the lilac shores of sorrow.” Remigiusz Grzela
